From the MRJs Stacy Graham Hunt:
Cheshire police issue "Safety Citations" to young people who wear safety equipment when riding in a car, on a bicycle, skateboarding or rollerblading.
The citations can be redeemed at participating local businesses.

Tim, that is ll well and good, but I have a question in regards to the skateboard park. There is a sign that says you must wear helmets, but if you ever go to the park you usually see a lot of teenagers riding bmx bikess or skateboarding without helmets. Who is resonsible if one these kids gets injured in there? Is the town?
ReplyDeleteI can't bring my children there anymore because it is too dangerous with these older kids and then I have to explain to them why they need to wear helmets and why these others aren't.
If the town is liable, I would lock the gate of figure out a way to enforce the helmet rule.
