Tesla coming to Cheshire?
In our ongoing efforts to save the Town of Cheshire money, reduce our energy footprint, and expedite our transition to a cheaper, cleaner, more reliable energy future, Tesla recently visited Cheshire's Energy Commission. The discussion topic was Cheshire's demand charges and Tesla's ability to manage and reduce our demand charges with their energy storage products. One specific topic was Cheshire's RFP for behind-the-meter solar at our sewer treatment plant and the possibility of adding storage that could leverage the 30% federal income tax credit to improve the project's economics. Hopefully, more to come....
