Sam Caligiuri to announce Senate bid

I didn't see it, but I understand that Sam Caligiuri was on FoxNew's Hannity* tonight. Sam said he intends to announce his candidacy for US Senate tomorrow.

* I don't have TV - cable or otherwise. Regardless, I gave up on Hannity even before I gave up on TV. Like Rush, he was far too partisan for me. I do kinda like Beck though. He's finally acknowledging that Ron Paul had some legitimate points about uncontrolled deficit-spending. If I watch any cable TV, it's more often CNN than either Fox or MSNBC.

State Senator Sam Caligiuri took the high road Monday night on Fox News when Sean Hannity was badgering him on a question about Senator Chris Dodd. Hannity repeatedly wanted Caligiuri to call Dodd corrupt. I'm sure Caligiuri will challenge Dodd on AIG, Countrywide and his lack of service to us while running for president. Hannity, as he does many times, came across as a belligerent street punk. Sam Caligiuri was right not to stoop to Sean Hannity's level of rude political discourse.
